Kim Hendrickson, President
From an early age, Kim began staging summer productions using her cousins and brothers as cast and crew while saving the key positions of star, music director, marketing and ticket taker for herself. After graduating from grade four, Kim decided to take her career more seriously and hone her skills behind the scenes.
Armed with a lifetime of experience, a business degree from MSVU and a passion for working with incredible talent, Kim has been the driving force behind top rated international festivals, live outdoor concerts and high profile corporate events from Singapore to Prince Edward Island.
Kim is fearlessly creative and to be around her is to be around highly charged energy. Corporate clients like Kim’s direct and honest approach and can depend on her drive for their own success. In 2013 Kim was awarded the prestigious Progress Women of Excellence Awards in Arts and Culture.
Things You Should Know about Kim:

Christina’s past life has included working as Marketing Manager at Metro News Halifax and as the Fundraising and Special Events Manager at St. FX University for the Coady International Institute.

Leah Tarlao, Accounting - International Festivals
Leah was exposed to the event world at an early age and she joined the conga line willingly. As the rest of the PEG team is busy making people dance, laugh, sing and explode with happiness, Leah keeps the office fires burning making sure all the checks check and the balances balance.
Ms. Smarty Pants was on the Dean’s list upon her graduation with a degree in Finance and Administration from Saint Mary’s University. Combined with her exposure to this absurd world of entertainment and academic standing, Leah’s talent is her ability to focus and streamline the activities of PEG.
Things You Should Know about Leah:

Michelle McCann, Social Media Manager
Michelle McCann sent her first tweet on April 7, 2008; while it was hardly prolific (“eating an orange lunch … tomato soup, goldfish crackers and carrots.”), it was the tweet that sparked an interest and, eventually, a passion for social media.
With a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English from St. Francis Xavier University and a Diploma in Public Relations from Nova Scotia Community College, Michelle has the ability to take a paragraph and turn it into 10 pages then turn those 10 pages into a couple of sentences … which is a handy skill when you’re communicating in 140 characters at a time!
Michelle spent the first few years of her career as a communications professional, followed by 10 years working in fund development and event management in the non-profit sector. In February 2013, Michelle started her own business as a social media consultant, strategist and curator, Bold and Italic Social Communications.
